Stampin' Queens Sketch Challenge #13

Ready for another awesome sketch from the Stampin' Queens Sketch Blog? I hope lots of you will join us for this sketch!! We just love seeing what everyone comes up with using our sketches.

This sketch is pretty straight forward and I like that about it!!

What do you think of my creation? I used a new technique to me that I learned at the Louisville Stampin' Up! Regional that a bunch of us just went to. When I saw Carrie Cundey demonstrate this I was "WOWED"!!! I just love this picture of her. She looks like she is just speaking to me doesn't it?? Anyway she showed us this technique that I guess is new to me and I loved it!! She took the Frost White Shimmer Paint, poured some into a plastic container and then taking a Classic Reinker of your choice she poured a couple of dots into the container.

Mix it together with your Aqua Painter and you have custom colored paint. LOVE IT!!!

You do need to use Watercolor Paper with Stazon Ink.

I also used Baja Breeze & Whisper White Card Stock, Whisper White 5/8" Satin Ribbon, Silver Waffle Paper, Gift Givers Stamp Set, Scallop Punch, Blender Pen and the Sparkling Jumbo Roller.

So what do you think? My Stamp Club got to make this same card on Monday night and they LOVED it!!! We did stamp two images of this stamp, painted the one and then cut out the other one of just the girl and the saying. We put her on top of the painted image with Stampin' Dimensionals after the paint was dried.

Now head on over to the Stampin' Queens Blog to check out what the other Queens did with this same sketch. I am sure you will be impressed and then join us. We would love to see what you come up with!!

Have a great day!!
